Vet Nurse Daniel

Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing 

Daniel has had a passion for animals since a young age. He regularly attended Zoo’s Victoria ‘Youth At The Zoo’ youth volunteering program during his teenage years, which solidified his interest in working with ‘unusual’ animals.

Daniel started his career as a shelter animal attendant, then moved into general practice and emergency vet nursing before diving into the world of exotic pets in 2021. He loves the diversity of cases and strives to provide the best nursing care for each individual patient.

Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work, Daniel volunteers with a therapeutic horse-riding organisation and enjoys horse riding, photography, and spending time outdoors.

Owned Pets

Daniel currently owns two mini lop rabbits, Jigglypuff & Scrabble, as well as a cat called Winnie.

Excellent service, caring and professional advice, and very good handling for our pet bird, on our first visit today at The Unusual Pet Vets, Jindalee. Very helpful, and they also provided further reading for us via email after our appointment regarding a few things we asked about.
