Vet Nurse Connor

Bachelors in wildlife conservation and biology, Completing Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing

I have been interested in the weird and wonderful from a young age. I always desired to work with animals that many others held apprehension for. As a uni student, I threw myself into any and all volunteering projects I could from beetle identification labs to migratory shorebird research. It was at this time of my life I gained a lot of experience with a wide range of animals but specifically those of the avian variety. After graduating I spent a couple of years travelling around the world working in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation projects, working predominately with monkeys, bears, and big cats. Upon returning to Australia I enrolled in veterinary nursing and worked in a general practice clinic for several years before joining the incredible team at the UPV!

Hobbies and Interest

Outside of work you can find me canon netting for endangered migratory shorebirds on Victoria’s coastlines or at several of Melbourne’s gorgeous parks spinning fire and juggling.

Owned Pets

I currently share my life and home with two Cavoodles.
