Amanda

Amanda is a dedicated veterinary nurse passionate about exotic animals, emergency, and critical care. She currently serves as the practice manager at our Murdoch clinic, bringing her expertise and enthusiasm to the forefront of her work.

In 2017, Amanda achieved a significant milestone by successfully completing the City & Guild Veterinary Nursing the Exotics species exams.

Among the exotic creatures she cares for, Amanda has developed a particular fondness for reptilian patients, with a soft spot for the endearing bobtail lizards, scientifically known as Tiliqua Rugosa.

At home, she shares her life with two rainbow lorikeets named Sammy and Stu-Pid, two beloved bobtail lizards named Harry and Hermione, and a charming yet demanding cockatiel named Lemon.

Excellent service, caring and professional advice, and very good handling for our pet bird, on our first visit today at The Unusual Pet Vets, Jindalee. Very helpful, and they also provided further reading for us via email after our appointment regarding a few things we asked about.
