Trainee Vet Nurse Amy

Amy started with The Unusual Pet Vets Peninsula in 2021 as a kennel hand. Since then, she has moved into a trainee nursing and reception role.

Since she was young, she has had a keen interest in animals and used to play “Vet” with her teddies. Amy enjoys all aspects of working at UPV and particularly loves our native wildlife.

Hobbies and Interests

Amy enjoys spending time socializing, but only when she is not busy being a homebody with her chickens.

Owned Pets

Amy shares her home with a gorgeous Shmoodle (Maltese Shihtzu X Poodle) named Ollie and two extraordinary chickens.

Excellent service, caring and professional advice, and very good handling for our pet bird, on our first visit today at The Unusual Pet Vets, Jindalee. Very helpful, and they also provided further reading for us via email after our appointment regarding a few things we asked about.
