Dr Lucinda graduated from Murdoch University in 2018 and has a great passion for exotic animals. She has worked with avian and small mammal specialists from Hong Kong, Australia, and the United States, as well as gained experience with African wildlife, laboratory and zoo animals. After graduation, Lucinda started working at the Unusual Pet Vets in Perth.
Committed to continuing education, Lucinda has achieved membership qualification in Avian Medicine and Surgery through The Australian and New Zealand College and Veterinary Scientist (ANZCVS) in 2022, and Medicine and Surgery of Unusual Pets in 2025. She is a Certified Aquatic Veterinarian through the World Aquatic Veterinary Medical Association in 2023.
Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, Lucinda enjoys tending her veggie garden and looking after her various farm animals at home. She also enjoys crafting miniatures, weaving tapestry, embroidering, and painting.
Owned Pets
Lucinda has a rainbow lorikeet named Jelly and a tropical fish tank at home. Along with her partner, she looks after a flock of chickens, two cows, four Dorper ewes, an Australian White ram called Coriramder, an alpaca, and three emus.
