Meet Jocelyn, Veterinary Nurse

Registered Veterinary Nurse

With over a decade’s experience in the veterinary industry, I started as a veterinary receptionist back in 2011, going on to receive my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2014. Since then I’ve spent extensive time in an emergency nursing role which I have loved the quick pace and the difference you can see in pet’s demeanours after a short stay; seeing them happy and reunited with their family after helping nurse them through a significant illness, brings me inexplicable joy. I’ve always had a special interest in exotics, especially rabbits and birds I’ve joined UPV to allow my special interest in exotic critters to flourish. Enjoying all aspects of the nursing role I have a particular interest in client care and anaesthesia.

Hobbies and Interests

I enjoy swimming, photography and art, using mediums such as pottery and acrylic painting; sometimes combining the two.

Pets Owned

June (aka Mama June), a beautiful red-eyed white lop rabbit rescue and two lovebirds, Lemon (very small and angry) and Harold (who loves his angry girlfriend)
