Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing

I’ve been fascinated by the animal kingdom since a very young and knew that working in the animal care industry was my calling. Having grown up with various family pets, my introduction to the industry was through fostering orphaned neonatal kittens at age 14, followed by becoming very heavily involved in wildlife rehabilitation a couple of years later. I find creatures of all shapes and sizes delightful, especially the more unusual ones! Over the years I have found a particular passion for birds and reptiles and love learning more and more about the animal world every single day.

Hobbies and Interests

I love being out in nature and exploring the beauty of the natural world. I love bush walking and snorkelling, always on the hunt to catch a glimpse of a wild critter! I almost always have some sort of foster animal to keep me busy, having previously fostered over 100 different creatures including kittens, puppies, birds, joeys and many species of native wildlife.

Owned Pets

I have an ever growing mini menagerie at home that includes my small white fluffy canine companion; Bella, my 2 rambunctious Chocolate Labradors; Banjo and Zoey, my 2 feline friends; Dora and Gopher, my cockatiel called Ghost, Budgie called Stevie-Ray and my beloved Western Bearded Dragon called Smaug.
