Hayley has always had a passion for all animals, but has always had a particular interest in reptiles. This led to volunteer work in both wildlife and reptile parks, with a big interest in animal husbandry. She began her vet nursing journey in the busy world of emergency where she also found a particular love for rabbits and guinea pigs! This led her to truly follow her passion to work with exotic animals and continue to learn anything and everything about the more unusual pets.

Hobbies and Interests

Hayley enjoys spending her spare time volunteering with rabbit and guinea pig rescue, hiking and playing the guitar.

Pets Owned

Hayley has two cheeky rabbits (Tonka and Disney), two guinea pigs (R2 and D2) a ridge tailed monitor lizard named Echo, and a Kelpie x named Odin.

Excellent service, caring and professional advice, and very good handling for our pet bird, on our first visit today at The Unusual Pet Vets, Jindalee. Very helpful, and they also provided further reading for us via email after our appointment regarding a few things we asked about.
