Rochelle started vet nursing in 2015 after volunteering at a wildlife park during her Environmental Studies.

Throughout her time in nursing, she has spent time doing all bits and pieces, including integrated veterinary medicine, wildlife, reproduction, and emergency care. She has always been one to jump into new things and enjoys continuously learning.

Hobbies and Interests

Rochelle spends her time outside of VN work volunteering at Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Sanctuary (they have more species than just Black Cocky’s there!), swimming/teaching, attending music gigs and for some peace and quiet doing arts and crafts such as cross stitch, long stitch, other art activities and jigsaw puzzles!

Owned Pets

Rochelle has rescued all her pets, past and present.
RIP: 2 cats (Rhah and Briar), a ferret and a rabbit (Mocha and Nibbles).
She currently has a cockatiel (Lori), a Pink & Grey Galah (Mary-Rose) and two cats (Apophis and Dominique).

Excellent service, caring and professional advice, and very good handling for our pet bird, on our first visit today at The Unusual Pet Vets, Jindalee. Very helpful, and they also provided further reading for us via email after our appointment regarding a few things we asked about.
