Vet Nurse, Hannah
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Hannah’s passion for nursing started at a young age with her pet chickens and only grew from there. Her career plans were solidified when she did placement at her local clinic and saw just how much of a difference the nurses made in the lives of their patients.
To that end she completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2016 and jumped straight in, and has worked in most areas of vet medicine: Small animal GPs, a three year stint in exotics & emergency, and most recently Hannah has worked over two years in small animal specialty & ECC with her focus on internal medicine & critical care, where her interests have been kept very busy.
But she could never get over her excitement in seeing the little creatures coming through and is immensely excited to meet all her new patients and gush over them at UPV. Her favourites being PIGEONS, chickens, rats and ferrets.
Her goal is to treat every patient like she would want hers to be cared for, and enjoys forming longstanding relations with her clients.
Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work Hannah likes to spend time with her friends, trying out all the good food spots and curling up on the couch with a book and her cats, and dreming of a larger house to hold a pigeon and chickens.
Owned Pets
Hannah is currently owned by 3 cats: Chilli, the princess, Obi, her heart and soul & Wasabi, her single-braincelled knee-warmer. She also has a Whippet, Bruce that thinks he’s a cat.
