Vet Nurse Jordi

Vet Nurse Jordi

Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing, BSc (Animal Science)

Ever since she was little, Jordi knew that she would end up working with animals in some shape or form. In 2017, Jordi’s academic pursuit led her to the doorstep of a Bachelor of Animal Science, a stepping stone toward her destined journey. She was at a crossroads as the haze of uncertainty presented upon graduation. In this pivotal moment, she embarked on a new avenue – Vet Nursing. Enrolling in the Cert IV program, she unknowingly embarked on the path that would be her dream job.

After completing her studies, Jordi spent three years nursing in a small animal practice. She loved seeing all the puppies and kittens, but in her heart, feathered friends were her passion, and in 2023, she leapt at the opportunity to join The Unusual Pet Vets team in Adelaide.

Hobbies and Interests

Jordi spends most of her free time being a homebody – playing video games, baking, gardening, or reading. However, you’ll always find her out and about when there’s a Medieval Fair, camping out and cooking up a storm with her Living History club.

Owned Pets

Jordi is currently mum to the sassy pied cockatiel called Nina.

Cannot speak highly enough of the caring and lovely staff at UPV Osborne Park. Particularly to Dr Kelly for the wonderful treatment and compassion she displayed caring for my much loved Bugz. Definitely recommend this practice. Simply the Best.

Gretel – Thankyou for all the tips and advice on what and what not to do with the bunnies.

We will definitely be recommending to all our exotic animal friends.

Excellent service, caring and professional advice, and very good handling for our pet bird, on our first visit today at The Unusual Pet Vets, Jindalee. Very helpful, and they also provided further reading for us via email after our appointment regarding a few things we asked about. All staff were lovely and friendly – from the initial phone booking (you can do internet bookings too) to and including the consult. Thank you very much – we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend.
