Dr Amelia

BSc, DVM

Dr Amelia was born in Adelaide and remained there to study at the University of Adelaide. Amelia has always had an interest in exotic animals, owning rabbits, Guinea pigs, budgies and snakes growing up.

After owning bearded dragons, Amelia became very interested in pursuing a career in reptile medicine and surgery. They are, by far, her favourite animal. Currently, Amelia lives in the Adelaide Hills with her menagerie of reptiles, including pythons, dragons and a freshwater crocodile!

Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work, Amelia enjoys being creative with painting, drawing and sculpting. She also enjoys hiking and camping outdoors, playing softball, girl guides, dungeons and dragons.

Owned Pets

Amelia shares her home with a canine companion, a feline friend, several pythons, multiple bearded dragons, monitor lizards, frill-neck lizards and a freshwater crocodile.
