Vet Nurse Amber (She/Her)

Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing and BSc in Environmental Biology

Amber started studying Vet Nursing halfway through her bachelor’s degree as a way to complement her volunteer work with wildlife. As well as to become an advocate for wildlife within domestic clinics. However little did she know she would fall in love with vet nursing. Amber spent a few years working as a vet nurse with domestic animals in Perth WA before making the big move to Queensland in 2019 to work at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital and mix her passions for Nursing and Wildlife. Amber then joined the UPV in 2021 when they opened the Sunshine Coast clinic.

Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work you will find Amber tending to her many plants, spending quality time with her crazy Corella “Morky”, bouldering and exploring the beautiful tracks and hikes surrounding the sunshine coast.

Owned Pets

Amber is the proud pet parent to a Western Corella called Morky, two Galahs called Quinnoa and Lola, and two feline friends called Ninny and Marm.
