Meet Jade, Veterinary Nurse
Cert IV Veterinary Nursing, Cert III Captive Animals, Cert II Animal Studies
Jade started her Vet Nursing journey in 2014 straight after finishing her schooling and she hasn’t looked back! Jade started her career as a trainee animal attendant working in a mixed animal practice. Her love for animals only grew from here after being exposed to a variety of different animals including native wildlife, farm animals, and all creatures in between.
Jade then moved to a busy small animal hospital where she focused on developing her nursing skills, and her passion for exotic nursing developed here too. Jade was then given the opportunity to work with a few of her favourite creatures including rabbits and guinea pigs!
Wanting to further her knowledge and exposure to all the wonderful animals of the world, Jade completed a qualification in Zoo Keeping during 2020.
Jade has since worked with various exotic animals and is really excited to continue pursuing her passion for this nursing niche.
