Dr Marianne Curran

BVSc (Hons), MVM (Companion Animal)

Dr Marianne graduated from the University of Queensland in 2016 and began working as a small animal and exotics veterinarian in Bundaberg.

Throughout her time in practice, she has developed a strong interest in avian and exotics medicine and has chosen to focus her career in this direction. In 2023, she completed her Master’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine, with her research project exploring nutrition-related diseases in pet birds.

Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work, Marianne enjoys spending time with her animals, keeping fit, and performing with her local theatre group.

Owned Pets

Marianne has a menagerie of pets, including two greyhounds named Jamie and Orpheus, a quaker named Lafayette, two conures named Peggy and Cory, and an assortment of cats.
