From a young age, Leah had always been fascinated by our feathery, scaly, slimy friends. While travelling Australia, she fell in love with the country and all the wonderful animals, large and small, that she calls home. During her time volunteering at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, it became clear to Leah that she could turn her passion into a career, so she started studying vet nursing. Since then, Leah has worked in a general practice clinic and a bird, reptile and exotic clinic.
Hobbies and Interests
In her spare time you can find Leah underwater scuba diving or high in the mountains hiking.
Owned Pets
Leah is a proud bird mum to a little lovebird called Nimmel.
