Samantha has always had a passion for exotic animals and knew from the start of her nursing career that she wanted to work with exotics and wildlife. She began working with exotic animals in 2019 and has loved every minute of it. Samantha thrives on the constant learning and creative problem-solving that comes with working in this unique field.
Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, Samantha has a wide range of hobbies, including cosplaying, sewing, 3D printing and modelling, gaming, motorbike riding, and pole dancing (“it’s like going to the gym—just way more fun!”). In October 2022, she spent eight weeks travelling through Africa and volunteering at a wildlife hospital—an unforgettable experience that deepened her commitment to animal care. She hopes to go back and travel around more of Africa one day!
Owned Pets
At home, Samantha shares her life with a Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo named Chicken and two New Zealand Giant rabbits, Sylveon and Umbreon.
