Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing

Dorothy is a qualified veterinary nurse who has been loyal to her passion for exotic animal care. She has been working with a wide variety of exotic species since 2019, but has a soft spot for small mammals (especially guinea pigs!!) She is dedicated to ensuring these unique pets receive the attentive and compassionate care they deserve.

Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work, Dorothy enjoys reading, going to the gym, and spending time outdoors walking. These activities help her stay balanced and energised, both in her personal life and in her hands-on role as a veterinary nurse.

Owned Pets

Dorothy is currently a glorified pooper scooper for her two guinea pigs and feline friend.

Excellent service, caring and professional advice, and very good handling for our pet bird, on our first visit today at The Unusual Pet Vets, Jindalee. Very helpful, and they also provided further reading for us via email after our appointment regarding a few things we asked about.
