Sarah started her journey into the vet industry industry quite late in life. Initially, she studied at the University of Queensland with a strong passion for Ornithology and wanted to work outside with birds all day.
However, Sarah shifted her focus from Ornithology to captive birds. She has had the privilege of learning about avian training and behaviour from one of the top organisations in America, and she loves sharing her knowledge and experiences with those around her.
Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys photography and trivia.
Owned Pets
Sarah has a sweet and lively household, sharing her home with Maestra and Odin, two Australian King Parrots, Gambit the Cockatiel, Juggernaut the Budgie, Kuiper the Indian Ringneck, and Chester the Jack Russell. Her collection of amphibians includes Linnaeus and Gaius, two Green and Golden Bell Frogs, as well as Sagan and Copernicus, two Spotted Marsh Frogs. Adding to the mix is Cousteau, a striking Jewel Spider — truly a home full of feathered, furry, froggy, and eight-legged friends!
