
Sam has been a dedicated Veterinary Nurse for over 20 years, bringing a wealth of experience in general practice, emergency care, and exotic animal medicine. Most recently, she was the Veterinary Coordinator at Melbourne Zoo. Sam has been involved with Wildlife Health Australia’s disease surveillance program for several years and has contributed to the training of wildlife carers by running educational sessions.
Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, Sam loves off grid camping, the beach, kayaking and going to live music.
Owned Pets
Sam has had the complete menagerie of furred, feathered, scaled and aquatic pets, which included a Chameleon and Boa Constrictors when living overseas. Currently she shares her home with two dogs, a cat, two cockatiels, and several fish/shrimp tanks.
