Veterinary Nurse Gemma
Gemma initially worked in wildlife rehabilitation and zoo keeping, where she felt a patient for nursing unwell or injured wildlife back to health.
In 2019, she started her vet nurse training and has been in the industry ever since! Gemma was originally trained in a predominately exotics vet clinic and continued to work at hospitals that would treat the more unusual pets of Perth.
She has a special interest in surgery/anaesthesia and emergency/critical care. Gemma is very experienced working with all sorts of animals, from goldfish to cockatoos!
Hobbies and Interests
Outside work, Gemma enjoys exploring north or south of Perth with her partner on the weekends. She loves a good campfire in the evening during winter.
Owned Pets
Gemma is the proud pet parent to two rabbits called Croissant and Cumpet, a long neck turtle named Bambi and many, many fish.
