After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology, Minami explored different industries before finally pursuing her dream of studying Veterinary Nursing in 2024. Despite being allergic to many animals, her passion for working with them has been lifelong, making a career in animal care a true dream come true!

While Minami loves all animals, she has a special soft spot for pocket pets, especially anything small and fluffy.

Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work, you can spot her in various food hotspots around Perth, trying out new food with friends. She also enjoys gaming, watching movies/anime, and tending to her never-ending list of unfinished craft projects.

Owned Pets

Minami shares her home with two very naughty fur babies – a mini-lop named Mugi and a sausage dog named Peanut. For now, it’s just the double-trouble, but there’ll be more to follow soon!

Excellent service, caring and professional advice, and very good handling for our pet bird, on our first visit today at The Unusual Pet Vets, Jindalee. Very helpful, and they also provided further reading for us via email after our appointment regarding a few things we asked about.
