Meet Linda, Practice Manager

Cert IV VN, Bachelor of Business Management (Human Resources)

Linda began veterinary nursing in 2011 and worked in general practice for 5 years before achieving her aspiration of working with wildlife at The Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital where she remained for the next 3 years.

   In 2019 she joined the Avian & Exotic Pet Service at the University of Queensland Small Animal Hospital in Gatton as their veterinary Nurse and clinical educator.

Linda joined UPV as Nurse Manager for the Sunshine Coast Clinic in 2021.

Linda has a keen interest in training and education, recently completing a Graduate Teaching Associate program and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Prior to her career in veterinary nursing, Linda worked in retail and small business management, during which she completed a Bachelor of Business Management majoring in Human Resources.

Linda is an AVNAT RVN, and member of the VNCA Qld division committee. She has extensive experience working with wildlife and avian and exotic pets and is passionate about their care and welfare.

Hobbies and Interests 

Linda’s outside interests include hiking combined with wildlife photography. She enjoys playing music, specifically guitar, gardening, and hanging out with her dog – Chester the Whippet.
