Rabbit Smallest Castrate Ever

Ensuring your pet is up to date with their vaccinations is very important to prevent against deadly diseases. Vaccinations involve your pet having a small injection under their skin that then allows their body to become familiar with the inactivated disease particles so that if they are ever exposed to the real disease they are ready to fight it.

We recommend rabbits be vaccinated biannually (every 6 months) against calicivirus. Ferrets should be vaccinated every 12 months against distemper virus. Both of these diseases will kill your pet if they contract the disease and are not protected by the vaccination.

Currently in Australia there are no commercially available vaccines for parrots, reptiles, amphibians, guinea pigs, rats or mice.
